Spring has Sprung

I haven’t been doing as much birding as I would have liked by I have done enough to see that Spring has arrived. Last weekend I went on a 3RBC (3 Rivers Birding Club) outing to Wngfield Pines. There I got both oriole species found here. Also, there was northern waterthrush, eastern kingbird, warbling vireo, and yellow-throated warbler. Definitatley Spring species. Also, today I found my street’s first batch of song sparrow fledglings of the year. Next I plan on going on Saturday to the Biggest Week in Magee Marsh. I will report later then.
