Hello! My name is Aidan Place and I am an 23 year old birder mainly based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been birding for as long as I can remember and have more recently picked up an interest in Herping and Mammal Watching as well.
Though I have always been interested in wildlife, I first got interested in particularly birds when I had a very close encounter with a hooded warbler on my family’s farm in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Since that point, I have been heavily birding all across the US and abroad. To this date, I have birded in 48 US states, 3 Canadian provinces, and 37 total countries.
